My passion for music started in college, where I taught myself to play the acoustic guitar. I formed and led a contemporary Christian group in 1978. I left Ghana in 1987 to pursue a PhD in Plant Genetics and Breeding in the USA. I pursued a career of about 40 years in higher education teaching, research, and administration, and retired in 2025.

Unable to form a music group in the US, I tried studio recording. This effort was unsuccessful. I suspended active music writing and performing after composing nearly 200 songs. In 2023, I rekindled my partnership with my friend Kofi to revisit music recording after 50 years since our college spark. This was challenging and unsuccessful.

In 2025, I was introduced to AI-generated music. It was God-sent! It provided a means to pursue hybrid music production (humans + AI) at world-class quality. According to this model, the music and lyrics are composed © by me, the artist, while the instrumentation and background are created with AI-assisted tools (Suno).

The Love Imperative project is undergirded by my Love Trilogy philosophy of living: God is love – Love God – Love your neighbor as yourself. I seek to compose and produce divinely inspired songs in different music styles, addressing all aspects of authentic Christ-like living. I live in the USA with my wife, Theresa, four children, and two grandchildren.
